Fugro GB Marine in Wallingford, Oxfordshire chose DMA to replace the existing pallet racking in a new warehouse that they have taken over. The brief was to maximise the 324m² warehouse footprint and the 8m headroom with pallet racking to accommodate 1200mm x 1000mm x 960mm high pallets.
DMA supplied and installed Storax SP80 racking, using 7m high x 1100mm deep frames with 3300mm wide x 2000kg beams, all fitted with open board timber decking panels on all storage levels. The configuration that DMA designed yielded a total of 378 pallet positions. DMA also fitted upright protectors to the front of each upright and location labeling to each beam level.
