DMA was engaged by World Duty Free Europe to form a landside and airside delineation at one of their custom-bonded distribution centres at Glasgow Airport. The partitioning was designed to bridge two pallet scanning machines for goods to be processed from a landside location to an airside location, to comply with HRMC’s and Airport Authority’s regulations on airport security. Mesh partitioning was chosen to allow full vision across the site and for lighting and heating distribution. The panels used in the first 5 metres in height were fitted with expamet (expanded metal) mesh to provide additional security.
